Each week, I’ll give you a breakdown of my favorite adds in fantasy football. All players listed have to be rostered in under 50% of leagues to qualify for this list. Josh Downs, WR, Indianapolis Colts, 36% owned
Downs has seen 5 or more targets in all but one game this season and has drawn a 19.7% target share over the last 3 weeks. Over that span, he has finished as the WR 19, 27, 3. With Richardson now out for the season, this offense should see some more passes and fewer QB scrambles. Downs has the talent and the opportunity share to be considered for a weekly flex play.
Tank Dell, WR, Houston Texans, 48.7% owned
Did you know Tank Dell is averaging the same amount of fantasy points per game as DK Metcalf and above guys like Michael Pittman, Garret Wilson, Zay Flowers, and Chris Olave? He is in a pass heavy offense with a young QB who isn't afraid to sling it downfield. Dell is a weekly flex play on waivers in too many leagues.
Darrell Henderson, RB, Los Angeles Rams, 15.5% owned
Henderson steps in and immediately is the main back. You may wonder why with all the Evans hype. The answer is he is just better than the other backs on the roster and will be the main guy unless he gets hurt. Health has been an issue for Henderson but McVay trusts him to carry the load while Freeman gives him his breathers. You aren’t going to get anyone else off waivers who could see 20 touches weekly.
Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals, 32.3% owned
Kyler should be back sometime between weeks 9 and 10 and if you have a big need for a QB, now is your time to get him. Articles will start coming out in the coming weeks reminding your league mates about the shift signal caller in the desert. Kyler has a higher upside than any other QB on waivers.
