Being a premium member pays for itself! Real quick scoring overview: Fighters get .2 points for strikes and sig strikes, +0.03 pts/second of control time, 5 pts for TDs, 5 pts for reversals, and 10 pts for knockdowns. The earlier a fight ends; the more bonus points you receive. With this scoring, hesitant strikers that back up will single handedly sink your roster. I'm looking for wrestlers and guys with knockout power. If you would like access to the entire article, consider joining one of our premium member plans!
Every Lineup Fighter: Joaquin Buckley, $9,000, (-238)
This was a tough choice, but I think Buckley has huge upside. He is 5-0 in his last 5 fights with 3 KOs and 2 unanimous wins. His most recent losses were to power punchers like Chris Curtis and that is far from what Colby Covington is. Covington's main MO is out wrestling his opponent, and I don't see that happening with Buckley. Buckley has better TD accuracy and defense while also being the busier striker. Colby fought Edwards for the belt, and it was an embarrassing performance for Colby as everyone believed that Edwards had vastly improved his grappling. Fast forward to Edwards next fight, and Belal Muhammad cuddles Edwards for 25 minutes to steal his belt. Covington's last win was vs Jorge Masvidal in 2022 who is a better meme than a fighter and before that was Tyron Woodley on his retirement tour. I like Buckley to get the win and think he can get the KO as well.
