QB: Russell Wilson, $7500, 2.9% owned
Russ and the Broncos got cooked last week by an embarrassing 50 points. Now they get a match up against one of the worst teams in the league that was just shredded by Kansas City who had been struggling offensively. Russ has had back to back 300 yard games for the first time since 2020 and has played well this season. I’m buying into a great matchup that the public is fading.
RB: Najee Harris, $6300, 5.4% owned
Najee has had a miserable season and while his ownership hasn’t dipped as much as I would like, his price tag sure has. He faces a Texans team who has been hot lately, but historically has been pretty bad. The Steelers have one of the best defenses in the league and could steal some possessions from rookie QB Stroud. Najee has not yet scored a TD. That changes this week.
WR: Jerry Jeudy, $6600, 3.1% owned
Like Russ above, I'm in on Denver this week. Jeudy has had a poor start to the season thanks to a late off season injury but has a great matchup to get right. They are going to be looking to score frequently and dominate this game after their embarrassment last week. Sean Peyton is looking to get Jeudy and the offense humming here.
TE: Hayden Hurst, $5400, 1.5% owned
Hurst has fallen off the bandwagon a bit after a great start to the season. That’s great because we have excellent value and ownership this week. Hurst gets to go against the sad Minnesota defense in a game that could become a shoot out. The Vikings have to win this game and will have to rely on their offense like always. Hurst and the rest of the Panthers will get to continue to expose a defense that has struggles all year.
