Week 8 DFS Values of the Week

week 8 DFS values

Take advantage of the percentage a player is owned! The higher a player's exposure, the better you have to be at choosing other positions. Try to mix in different exposures to create your own unique lineup. Previous millionaire winners have a total ownership percentage of 100.56% each week, and the range between 75%-125% is recommended to increase your chances of winning.

QB: CJ Stroud, $7400, 4.4% owned

This is a battle between the top two picks in this year's draft. Stroud was always the Texans guy and he has been on fire this year. Both teams are coming off a bye so it isn’t like one is at a bigger advantage. The Texans and Stroud want this game more than the Panthers and I see them letting Stroud lead the way.

RB: Alvin Kamara, $8300, 6.4% owned

Kamara has seen 25 or more touches in every game since his return including two 14 target games. Kamara is seeing some elite opportunity share right now and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. Ownership for RBs is high across the board as there are dwindling options due to all the injuries this season. Kamara has the combination of price and ownership that makes him worth using in all your rosters.

WR: Tee Higgins, $6800, 4.2% owned

The Bengals are coming off a bye while the 49ers are coming off a game where they were dominated through the air. Tee has had a poor season to this point and it has suppressed his price and ownership percentage considerably. The Bengals will likely throw the ball around 50 times and I expect Tee to have double digit targets. I’m taking the chance on Tee.

TE: Tyler Higbee, $4800, 1.4% owned

The Rams are facing the Cowboys coming off a bye and Higbee has struggled this season. It’s largely in part due to the emergence of Puka Nacua and Kupps return. This has all resulted in Higbee being nearly free and barely owned. The best way to neutralize a pass rush is to get the ball out quick and with the injuries to their RBs, I like those dump offs to go to Higbee. With a 6.5 point spread, Higbee helps keep this game close.

FADE OF THE WEEK: Tyreek Hill, $9500 20.4% OWNED, Hip Injury
