Being a premium member pays for itself! Real quick scoring overview: Fighters get .2 points for strikes and sig strikes, +0.03 pts/second of control time, 5 pts for TDs, 5 pts for reversals, and 10 pts for knockdowns. The earlier a fight ends; the more bonus points you receive. With this scoring, hesitant strikers that back up will single handedly sink your roster. I'm looking for wrestlers and guys with knockout power. If you would like access to the entire article, consider joining one of our premium member plans!

Every Lineup Fighter: Sean Brady, $8,500, (-135)

Sean Brady is my every-lineup fighter this week, and it’s hard to find a more reliable DFS anchor. Michael Morales has never faced a grappler or submission specialist anywhere near Brady’s level—don’t even bring up Gilbert Burns, who was at the end of his career and folded like a napkin the moment things got tough. Brady is on the verge of a title shot, and the only thing standing between him and that opportunity is a one-dimensional striker who has never dealt with elite pressure, top control, or submission chains. At his still-affordable salary, Brady offers multiple clear paths to victory—dominant wrestling volume, a submission finish, or even a late TKO via attrition. He’s live in all three-win conditions and easily has one of the highest floor/ceiling combinations on the slate.

Value Fighter: Malcolm Wellmaker, $8,400, (N/A)

Malcolm Wellmaker is my favorite value fighter on the entire slate, and the matchup couldn’t be more of a gift. His original opponent dropped out, and now he gets Ethyn Ewing—who’s making his UFC debut with an 8–2 regional record that raises one simple question: Bro… what is this? Ewing has never faced anyone close to UFC-level competition, and now he’s stepping in with a guy who has starched two separate UFC fighters so fast he still hasn’t seen the third minute of a fight. Wellmaker’s explosiveness, power, and finishing instincts are on a completely different tier, and this is the definition of a mismatch. He’s primed to absolutely destroy Ewing and once again push well over 100 DK points in a quick, violent finish that makes him the clear smash value on the card. Wellmaker should be priced near $10k.

Fade Fighter: Fatima Kline, $9,500, (-520)

Fatima Kline is my clear fade of the week, and honestly… who made these prices? DraftKings set her at $9,500, yet the over 2.5 rounds is -330, which is a massive red flag for DFS. At that salary tier, fighters need to hit 10x value, meaning she’d have to score 95 DK points to pay off—not even close to realistic in a slow, decision-heavy matchup. Kline averages 78.3 DK points per fight, which means she’s priced nearly $2,000 above her actual value, making her one of the worst point-per-dollar plays on the slate. And now she’s facing Angela Hill, who not only has way more experience but also matches up extremely well, boasting superior striking accuracy and stronger takedown defense. Kline’s unlikely to dominate, unlikely to finish, and wildly overpriced. Easy fade.
