The Best Championship Future Bets that you can make RIGHT NOW!

December 11, 2025
A Championship Future bet in the NFL, CFP, NBA, CBB, NHL, and MLB that I think hold some nice value at this point in their respective seasons.

Future bets have been a massive source of income for us over my betting career, especially in the championship market. While I do put my own money on a few championship futures in each sport every year, I really love using my free bets on championship futures throughout the year. While I don't know for sure if that is the smartest way to use free bets, I always enjoy having action in the final game of each league every season. I have looked over the futures market across the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, as well as CFB and CBB and have a pick for each and every sport. Become a Gold member today and get my favorite championship futures for the 6 leagues listed above.

:

Buffalo Bills +850

The Buffalo Bills are my favorite current bet to win the Super Bowl at +850. The Bills hold all the value here as the AFC is looking like it'll have an overall weaker playoff field with the likes of the Chiefs, Ravens, and Bengals all looking like they will miss the postseason. The Bills look primed to make it into the playoffs and will be the clear favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl if the teams listed above all miss out. In fact, at +850, they have the shortest odds of any AFC team with only the Rams (+370), Seahawks (+650), and Packers (+750) above them. Directly behind the Bills are two AFC opponents, the Broncos and Patriots who are both 10-1 to lift the Lombardi Trophy. I am going to be frank, neither the Broncos or Patriots will win the Super Bowl and you can take that to the bank. They have had nice seasons but their strength of schedule has been a cake walk and you just don't get these teams coming out of nowhere to win the Super Bowl. Likewise, the Seahawks are not going to win it either for the same reason. Do you really trust Sam Darnold to win 4 playoff games against the best teams in the league? It's not going to happen. We've seen surprise teams makes deep runs in the playoffs, but they always fall just short of winning it all, and I expect that to continue. The cream will rise to the top as it always does in the NFL which tells me the teams with a legitimate shot of winning it all are the Rams, Bills, Eagles, Lions, 49ers, Ravens, or Chiefs. With the AFC team's looking dicey to make the postseason and with the loaded NFC side, the value to win the Super Bowl as we currently sit is with the Buffalo Bills. This is a bet that I have made. Take Buffalo to win it all.

CFP :

Alabama Crimson Tide +2500

The value in the CFP futures market, like it or not, is on the Alabama Crimson Tide at 25-1. I could've given out 3 teams here but I truly feel that Alabama has as good a shot as anybody to win it all and at +2500, I can't pass this up. I really like Alabama in their matchup with Oklahoma. This is a rematch from just a few weeks ago when Oklahoma beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa 23-21. I watched that game from start to finish and it was just a poor showing from the Tide. I like Alabama with revenge on their mind in the playoff, a spot that they are plenty use to being in. If they beat the Sooners, they advance to play IU and I think that game would be a pickem on a neutral site. I wouldn't want to go against the Tide in that spot against an overall inexperienced IU squad when it comes to playoffs and big time games. If they can get past IU, they will be favored in the semis and we will have a beautiful hedge opportunity whether it be in the semis, or if it's in the championship game against likely Ohio State or Georgia. Speaking of OSU and Georgia, those are the 2 other teams that I like to win it all. Take a small slice of Alabama and set yourself up for some hedging opportunities as long as they can beat the Sooners in the first round.

NBA :

Oklahoma City Thunder +120

I will keep this one short. The Thunder are the only way that I could look to bet in this market and I think the + money will be gone in a couple of weeks. This team is really good. They have stars, they have depth, they have experience, and best of all, they try hard and they care. This team is poised to make another deep playoff run barring any major injury and they will be heavily favored in their playoff matchups. I am not involved in the NBA futures market as of now but the Thunder are the only way I could look. The best way to play this future would be to get heavily involved with OKC at the + money (5u wager) and give yourself some wiggle room to hedge if need be come playoffs.

CBB :

Connecticut Huskies +1000

I typically like to wait until later in the season to get involved with CBB futures but I think the current value to win the tournament is with the Huskies. The current sexy team is the Michigan Wolverines and why not? They assembled an NBA roster in the offseason and are beating everybody they come in contact with by 30+ points. I have enjoyed it thus far as I am sitting on a preseason future on the Wolverines at 18-1 but that being said, that type of team typically doesn't last when it comes to the tournament. You run into teams who are better coached, play better defense, and a team that can get hot and we often see those "super teams" fall in the later rounds of the tournament. A team that Michigan could fall to is the UCONN Huskies. Now listen, I cannot stand coach Dan Hurley. I think he is a childish clown. That being said, there is no denying that he is a very good coach. He has himself a very nice roster yet again and is in an overall weak Big East Conference who looks to have many of their team's in down seasons. I expect UCONN to win their conference and land a #1 seed in the dance. When it comes to making it through the tournament, I would be comfortable with my money on a Dan Hurley coached, #1 seed UCONN Huskies, a team who has won it all in dominant fashion in 2 of the last 3 years. At 10-1, the Huskies are worth a futures bet right now while the public is still completely in love with the Wolverines.

NHL :

Florida Panthers +850

The Stanley Cup Champion market is one of the tougher ones to bet in my opinion. This is one that I won't currently be getting involved with but I think the Panthers hold some value at +850. After back to back Stanley Cup Championships in Southern Florida, the Panthers have opened the 2025-26 campaign a little shaky. That being said, they have been incredibly banged up and will be getting a lot of their core players back soon. They have been without Aleksander Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk, two key pieces to that Panthers team. They are starting to play better and once they get those two players back, I expect more dominance from the Panthers. This team has been active at the trade deadline the last few seasons and with the tax breaks in Florida, it wouldn't shock me to see them sign another star to this team to make a run at the 3-peat. If you are looking to bet on a Stanley Cup Champion future, I would take a small bit out of the Florida Panthers.

MLB :

Los Angeles Dodgers +370

The Dodgers are off back to back World Series titles and they won it in 2025 with arguably the greatest team ever assembled. Believe it or not, they could be even better next season than they were this past year. There is a very real possibility that the Dodgers add SP Tarik Skubal to their rotation as the talks of making a trade with the Detroit Tigers are heating up. If Skubal joins that pitching rotation, I don't know how this team loses in a 7 game series. They are likely to add another star or two to their already loaded lineup as they are not shy about spending in the offseason and are going for a 3rd straight World Series Championship. The Dodgers are going for the best team that money can buy and if you can't beat em, join em. Give me the plus money right now with LA and if they do end up landing Skubal, this line will immediately drop. Even if they don't acquire Skubal, I still expect +370 to be close to this team's ceiling as far as championship odds go barring major injuries. Grab the Dodgers now, hope for a major splash this offseason and sit back and enjoy a full season of dominant baseball in Los Angeles.
