NFL Wildcard - Underdog Picks

Unlock your winning potential for the NFL Wildcard with our strategic approach to Underdog picks. We're utilizing the power of AI and advanced analytics with PropsBotAI to help win you more money!

When it comes to building winning lineups on Underdog, discipline is just as important as finding the right players. That’s why we keep our plays tight—sticking to just 3 legs. The math backs it up: the more legs you stack, the faster your odds drop. For example, even if each leg has a 60% chance of hitting (better than a coin flip), a 3-leg entry still has a 21.6% chance of cashing. Add a fourth leg, and it plummets to 12.9%. By the time you’re at 5 legs, you’re looking at just 7.7%—not exactly a recipe for consistency. In other words, chasing big payouts with long slips might look appealing, but the sharp strategy is keeping it short and maximizing your actual chances of walking away with a win. We have also partnered with my friend David, the creator of PropsBot.AI, to bring you picks that I like personally and are backed up by data driven insights! Travis Etienne HIGHER THAN 80.5 Ru+Rec Yards

Etienne sets up as a strong value play this week against the Buffalo Bills, who consistently rank bottom 3–5 in key run-defense metrics and remain vulnerable to being worn down on the ground. Etienne finished 11th in the league in rushing yards with 13 total touchdowns and remains a focal point of the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, especially with his added receiving upside boosting his floor. With Buffalo’s offense stalling at times this season and no longer operating as an elite scoring unit, Jacksonville’s likely game plan is to lean on their top-10 defense (19.8 points allowed per game), keep Josh Allen off the field, and drain the clock through their reliable back, giving Etienne the volume and opportunity needed to clear this number.

Jaylen Warren HIGHER THAN 1.5 Receptions

This pick is a quietly strong value that fits exactly how the Pittsburgh Steelers have won games and punched their playoff ticket this season. Warren has cleared this number in all but two games, and this offense has increasingly leaned on quick outlets and running back usage in the passing game, with Kenneth Gainwell finishing 4th among RBs in catches and Warren ranking 11th — clear evidence that Aaron Rodgers has turned this offense into a dump-off machine. Against a red-hot Houston Texans pass rush that should limit time in the pocket, short throws to the backfield should come early and often. With public attention likely shifting after Gainwell’s big game last week, Warren profiles as a sneaky, low-bet-volume option with a very high probability of cashing this modest reception line. This is PropsBotAI's favorite pick of ours this week with its highest confidence rating at 0.59.

Woody Marks HIGHER THAN 54.5 Rush Yards

This bet aligns perfectly with how the Houston Texans have found success all season — dominate with defense and do just enough offensively to secure the win. While neither the Texans’ passing nor rushing attack has been elite, Marks has emerged as a clear focal point of the offense, and the results have been steady and effective. This sets up as a safe, gritty game script where Houston controls tempo, keeps mistakes to a minimum, and leans on Marks to pound the rock. I don’t see a scenario where the Pittsburgh Steelers are ever truly in control, which should allow the Texans to stay committed to the run and use Marks to drain the clock and ice the game, giving him more than enough volume to clear this modest rushing number.
