Value Fighter: Rose Namajunas, $6,800, (+300)

Our value fighter this week is Rose Namajunas, and honestly… can someone explain how she’s sitting at +300? Don’t get me wrong—I like Silva, she’s legit—but this is the same Thug Rose who beat Zhang and Jędrzejczyk twice, and is coming off a recent win over Cortez. Seeing Rose at +300 and listed as one of the cheapest options on the card is borderline insane. I genuinely think Rose can win this fight outright. Silva does have strong decision wins over Andrade and Grasso, but when you zoom out, this line feels flat-out wrong. From a DFS perspective, this is exactly the kind of mispriced veteran upside you attack—low salary, real win equity, and massive leverage if she gets her hand raised.

Fade Fighter: Cameron Smotherman, $8,600, (-185)

Cameron Smotherman is our fade fighter, and his price is almost comically bad. He has the worst value on the entire card, scoring below 15 fighters who are cheaper than him, and in fact he’s the lowest-scoring fighter on average this week. Historically, Smotherman has returned roughly 40 cents for every dollar you’ve spent on him in DFS lineups, which is flat-out abysmal value. Based on his production, he profiles like a $4,070 fighter, yet he’s priced all the way up at $8,600. Add in a two-fight losing streak and a matchup against a scrappy Ricky Turcios who’s hunting a rebound of his own, and it’s hard to see this ending well. I’m not confident that skid doesn’t hit three. This is an easy pass.
