Every Lineup Fighter: Brandon Moreno, $8,700, (-205)
Brandon Moreno is my Every Lineup Fighter this week and I’m not overthinking it. The experience gap here is massive. Moreno has been in there with the absolute best at flyweight and has logged multiple 5-round wars under the brightest lights imaginable, while Lone’er Kavanagh has never fought a 5-round fight in his career. That matters in a main event. Moreno has proven he can win by submission, knockout, or decision — he’s a former champion for a reason — and now he gets to headline in his home country again, which is only going to pour gasoline on the fire. Both guys are coming off tough, embarrassing finishes, but context matters: Moreno was stopped by Taira, who’s about to fight for the belt, while Kavanagh was finished by 35-year-old Charles Johnson at the tail end of his run. In a five-round fight where pace, durability, and championship experience matter, I’m siding with the proven guy almost every time — and that’s Moreno.
